While you are using CEFCU On-Line®:

Credit Card Cash Advance Terms/Limitations

These transactions will post as a cash advance subject to the terms of your CEFCU MasterCard®, CEFCU Rewards MasterCard, and CEFCU World MasterCard Cardholder Agreement. The CEFCU On-Line screen may indicate $500 as the available credit for cash advances on your CEFCU Credit Card account. Nevertheless, the amount available for withdrawal or transfer from that Credit Card account through the use of CEFCU On-Line cannot exceed the lesser of the amount of your available authorized credit line or $500 with the $500 including all withdrawals or transfers using Money Center 24® ATMs, CO-OP® ATMs, MasterCard Network ATMs, STAR Network ATMs, Cirrus Network ATMs, NYCE Network ATMs, FTT personal banking machines, the CEFCU On-Line Program, the Mobile Banking Program, and the Touch-Tone Teller Program.

IMMA Transfer Limitation

Transfers or withdrawals made from an IMMA must be a minimum of $200.

Processing of Transactions

Transactions you initiate using CEFCU On-Line will be reflected in the balances on the Account Summary screen. Transactions initiated after CEFCU's business day end of 8 p.m. (CT) Monday to Friday and 5 p.m. (CT) Saturday (except for days our offices are closed), but before CEFCU completes transaction processing for that day, will not be reflected in the balances shown on the Account History screens. The balances on the Account Summary screen will be subject to adjustment until that transaction processing is complete. Any transaction initiated after the close of CEFCU's business day, but before completion of transaction processing, will be subject to reversal if, due to processing of transactions for that business day, the transaction would draw upon insufficient funds, lower an account balance below a required balance, or would exceed the number of transactions allowed for an account.

Disclosure of Information to Third Parties

CEFCU will disclose information to third parties about your account or the transfers you make:

  • Where it is necessary for completing transfers.
  • In order to verify the existence and condition of your account for a third party, such as a credit bureau or a merchant.
  • In order to comply with lawfully issued subpoenas, summonses, warrants, or court orders after mailing a copy to you (unless CEFCU is specifically prohibited from so notifying you).
  • In order to assist appropriate law enforcement agencies investigate when CEFCU reasonably believes it has been the victim of a crime.
  • In order to investigate errors you identify for us in accordance with the Error Resolution Disclosure.
  • In the regular course of exchanging credit information with other financial institutions or commercial enterprises, directly or through a consumer reporting agency.
  • If you give us your written permission.

Account History

You can view your account history during the period consisting of the account cycle current at the time of inquiry and the two (2) calendar months last occurring prior to the beginning of that current account cycle.

Transfer Transaction Deadlines

In order for transactions to be handled the same business day, you must meet the following deadlines:

  • CEFCU Credit Card: Initiate before 5 p.m. (CT) Monday to Friday.
  • All Other CEFCU Accounts: Initiate before 8 p.m. (CT) Monday to Friday and 5 p.m. (CT) Saturday.

After these times, your transactions and/or account balances may be subject to reversal if, due to processing of transactions for that business day, the transaction would draw upon insufficient funds, lower an account balance below a required balance or exceed the number of transactions allowed for an account.

Insured Money Market Account (IMMA) Transfers

If your IMMA balance falls below the minimum balance of $2,500 with completion of this transaction, it could result in a $15 fee. To avoid the fee, you may choose to cancel the transaction or change the transaction amount. If you wish to complete a transaction that would take your IMMA balance below $2,500, please contact CEFCU at 309.633.3829 or 1.800.633.7077, ext. 33829 during CEFCU business hours to find out how much you need to deposit to avoid this fee or close your IMMA.

Home Loan Transfers/Payments

The Minimum Required Payment includes your principal and interest along with taxes, insurance, and private mortgage insurance (PMI), if applicable. Payment amounts less than the Minimum Payment will not be accepted. If your Minimum Required Payment increases, your automatic transfer will increase by that same amount. Deposit Only Account

To set up a Deposit Only Account, you will need the financial institution's ID or routing number. CEFCU's routing number is 271183701. In addition, you will need the account number where you will be transferring money. Then give this account a nickname. Mail Me A Check

To have a check mailed to you, choose the From account from the drop-down menu, then choose Mail Me A Check in the To drop-down menu. The check will be mailed to the primary accountholder's address on our records.

Transfers

To complete a transfer, click the Transfer tab and click Create Transfer. Preview the transfer and click Submit. Track transfers with the Scheduled and the Completed tab in the Transaction section. The All Transfers tab has a combination of scheduled and completed transfers.

Quick Transfers

From the Home page expand the Quick Transfer section, complete the information, Preview it, then click Submit.

Transfers Search

Track transfers with the Scheduled tab and the Completed tab, which lists cleared transfers. The All Transfers tab has a combination of scheduled and completed transfers.

Home Equity Line of Credit/Easy Access Line of Credit

If you entered a fixed payment amount that is or becomes less than the minimum payment due, your automatic transfer will be increased to meet the minimum payment due.

Home Loans

  • Minimum Required Payment: The Minimum Required Payment includes your principal and interest along with taxes, insurance, and private mortgage insurance (PMI) if applicable. Payments less than the required minimum payment will not be applied to principal, interest, taxes, and insurance until a full payment is accumulated. If your payment is made through an automatic transfer, and you elected for that transfer to be more than the Minimum Required Payment, the elective payment amount will be shown.
  • Extra Funds: If you elect to pay more than the Minimum Required Payment, any additional funds will be applied first to any late fee then to your principal. If you do not have a late fee, additional funds will be applied directly to your principal. The additional funds must be applied with your Minimum Required Payment as a single payment. When using CEFCU On-Line, partial payments or additional funds cannot be applied between your regular monthly payments. Online Banking User ID

Choose a strong Login ID that combines letters and numbers. Your User ID must:

  • Be between eight and 16 letters and/or numbers.
  • Not contain any special characters — #^@&.
  • Not have any spaces.

Note: It is your responsibility to keep your CEFCU On-Line Login ID confidential and secure.

Online Banking Password

To protect your accounts, change your password periodically. Choose a strong Password that combines letters and numbers. Passwords are case-sensitive and must:

  • Be between eight and 16 letters and numbers.
  • Not contain any special characters — #^@&.
  • Be different than your Login ID.
  • Not have any spaces.
