Peoria, IL – CEFCU announces that Alycia Hightower has assumed the role of Chief People Officer. Hightower has been an employee of CEFCU for 29 years and previously served as the Vice President of Human Resources. In Hightower’s new role, she oversees the Human Resources, Recruitment, Payroll, Employee Benefits, and Human Resource Information Systems departments, plus their initiatives. She also provides executive-level leadership and guidance for member experience strategy, organizational training, employee development programs, and CEFCU’s corporate diversity, equity, and inclusion program. Hightower is active in the community, as she is involved with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and is a board member with the Tri-County Urban League in Peoria. She has also earned the designations of SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and Professional in Human Resources (PHR).

Tammie Fletcher, an employee of CEFCU for 33 years, has assumed the role of Assistant Vice President of People Operations. Fletcher previously served as the Benefits Administration Manager. Her new role works closely with the Chief People Officer to provide direction to the Human Resources and Employee Benefits departments to recruit, hire, and retain qualified individuals. She also works closely with our strategic planning team to provide executive-level leadership and guidance. Fletcher is a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist and a Certified Payroll Professional through the American Payroll Association. She is also a member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefits.

Assuming the role of Assistant Vice President of Business Services – Southern Illinois Region is Jeff Ambrose. Joining CEFCU in 2006, Ambrose was previously the Iles Member Center Manager/Senior Business Loan Officer before taking on his new role. He manages and grows the Southern Illinois Region commercial portfolio. In order to generate awareness in this new market, he works closely with the senior management team on strategies to increase membership and market share. Ambrose is a member of the American Business Club of Springfield and a board member with the Springfield Old Capitol Art fair.

Jessica Churchill has been promoted to Iles Member Center Manager in Springfield, IL.
