Financial Education

The FoolProof High School program was established to help students learn how to make wise financial decisions.

Teachers

FoolProof for High Schools is designed to use in each year of high school. The program offers up to 15 hours of online, video-driven, self-grading financial literacy instruction with young people doing the teaching.

The basic modules require 45-minute lab sessions and provide a thorough grounding in the basics of financial literacy. In addition, the Burning Money module has five parts that require up to eight 45-minute lab sessions. This module contains information on the budgeting, saving, and spending process.

The software grades the tests, and teachers may choose to use any part or all of the program. This program meets Illinois and California financial literacy guidelines and learning standards. For more information about the program or to register, visit FoolProofTeacher .
