Scammers never sleep. They work around the clock trying to find more ways to separate you from your money, identity, or valuable account information — using a variety of methods, including fraudulent emails, texts, and phone calls.
Recently, scammers have even tried to connect with members through fraudulent phone calls appearing as CEFCU.
As a reminder, CEFCU will never call you to ask for a One-Time Passcode, for your card number, PIN number, or other sensitive account information.
Scammers can be very persuasive when they call, but be smart about providing personal information. Do not reveal information if you did not originate the phone call.
