New checks will arrive before the closing, which is anticipated to take place at the end of the business day on March 12.
CEFCU checks can be written as of close of business on Friday, March 12. Any CEFCU check or ACH presented prior to March 12th will be returned.
New checks can be ordered conveniently by logging in to CEFCU On-Line© or Mobile Banking. Go to Menu > Services > Checking Services, then click the ‘Order new or replacement checks and accessories’ link. You can also order checks at your nearest CEFCU Member Center or by calling CEFCU at 1.800.633.7077 .
Once you’ve accessed the site via CEFCU On-Line and selected your design, you can add the joint member’s name by editing the information in the “Confirm Your Personalization” area along the right side of the screen.
Note: The name must be entered into the “Address Line or 2nd Name” field. Select “Bold” by clicking on the box. Place the street address in “Address Line or 3rd Name” field, and the city, state, and zip code in the “Address Line 4” field.
You can quickly place a stop payment on a CEFCU check by logging in to CEFCU On-Line or Mobile Banking. When there, go to Menu > Services > Checking Services, then click on the Check link under Place a Stop Payment. A representative can also put a stop payment on a CEFCU check for you by calling 1.800.633.7077 or by visiting a nearby CEFCU Member Center.
You can begin using your CEFCU Debit Mastercard with the close of business on Friday, March 12. Customers of Simmons Bank who currently have a debit card will automatically receive a new CEFCU Debit Mastercard.

Yes, CEFCU offers Card Alerts and Controls for both CEFCU Debit and Credit Mastercards. To view the options, log in to CEFCU On-Line or Mobile Banking, go to Menu > Services > Card Management, then click on the Card Services button.
If you opened a transaction dispute with Simmons Bank prior to the close of business on Friday, March 12, you will need to contact Simmons Bank for the status.
Please contact CEFCU at 1.800.633.7077 if an unauthorized Simmons Bank Debit Card transaction posted to your CEFCU account after the close of business on Friday, March 12.
Yes, CEFCU offers Automated Fraud Alerts on debit cards, which are triggered when a registered card performs a suspicious purchase that needs to be verified. With these alerts, you can register to have the alert sent to you via 2-way SMS text alerts – allowing you to quickly respond and take action on your card.
